Recycled Art Helpers at MakerFaire (NY Hall of Science, Queens, NY)Seeking creative, outgoing folks to make recycled art with kids as part of Maker Faire, the world's largest festival devoted to creativity and DIY!SCRAPKINS, the award-winning recycling arts program for kids, needs helpers for our "Recycled Racers" build team. Easy, super-fun project. You'll be assisting kids to turn a milk carton into their own custom "Recycled Racer" car.We provide everything, you just show up and have fun working with kids for part of the day then walk around and see the amazing exhibits for the rest.Helper Shifts:Saturday 9/29 9:30 am – 2 pm OR 2 pm - 7 pmSunday 9/30 9:45 am - 2 pm OR 2 pm - 6 pmWHERE: NY Hall of Science, Queens, NYWork a minimum of 4 hours and get free admission to Maker Faire ($30). Great opportunity for educators, artists, creatives. Students over 18 years welcome.Must be professional and have experience working with children.
